In the breed at the FL national
Tommy at 10
Tommy at 12 1/2
Tommy didn’t get out much
as a young puppy as I was moving to NC. He quick made up for time. Tommy also
went Best of Breed from the 12-18 month class over specials, second in both
sweeps and regular 9-12 month dog class at the ISCA 99 National. He finished
very easily with limited showing! Tommy had his first weekend in Canada – 4 WD 3
BW 2 BB and a GROUP First!! Tommy’s glad to be back in Canada and what a welcome
4 group firsts and a BIS!!! In 2001 Tommy is currently the #1 Irish and #4
Sporting Dog in Canada2001, he was also in the top 20 in the US! He has the lay-on and lay-back
that is being lost in the breed in North America. For 2002 he finished
#1 Sporting, #3 All Breeds – as always breeder/owner/handled!
None of Tommy’s
accomplishments could have happened without the support of his other owners

Chasing Cars lyrics
We’ll do it all
Everything
On our own
We don’t need
Anything
Or anyone
If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lay with me and
just forget the world?
I don’t quite know
How to say
How I feel
Those three words
Are said too much
they’re not enough
If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?
Forget what we’re told
Before we get too old
Show me a garden that’s bursting into life
Let’s waste time
Chasing cars
Around our heads
I need your grace
To remind me
To find my own
If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?
Forget what we’re told
Before we get too old
Show me a garden that’s bursting into life
All that I am
All that I ever was
Is here in your perfect eyes, they’re all I can see
I don’t know where
Confused about how as well
Just know that these things will never change for us at all
If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?
The above lyrics encapsulate Tommy’s and my relationship but
tears me up as I laid with him on the floor when I had to let him
go…….frequently we would lay in bed and just forget the world (I’d whisper
in his ear and we’d share secrets under the covers spppspppsppp are you ready
for the day,,,,maybe squirrels’ and birds are all around today…..we always had
Tommy time under the covers on show days while Rider and Windy were sleeping.
In his final few years he’d go to bed as soon as I opened the bedroom
door….lay across all of the pillows and I would come in and shift him just
slightly…..
oh TT man if I could just lay with you one more time to forget
the world……….
